Are you interested in donating books, compact discs, or other items from your home or office, but are not quite sure of the process? The following information may answer some of your questions.
Donations of books, compact discs, and DVDs that are clean and in good condition are accepted.
Magazines, videocassettes, audio cassettes, computer software and textbooks are not accepted; neither are computer books over three years old.
The Malakoff Public Library decides the disposition of all gifts.
All donations, small or large, are welcome. Donations can be dropped off at the Malakoff Public Library during business hours.
Yes. Contributions to the Malakoff Public Library are tax deductible.A receipt is available upon request. Just ask a Library staff member for one.Please note that representatives from the Malakoff Public Library cannot establish or affirm the value of your donation.
